Events are great because all you have to do is enjoy your experience—I'll be there to capture the moments as they unfold. Pictures really do tell a thousand words, and candids from events are a perfect example of that. They work really well to use for marketing purposes if desired. They help you remember how much fun you had, what you learned, and who you talked to long after the event is over. Those memories are often what we value the most.
